AJ takes a little spin on the 4 wheeler

Sunday, April 20, 2008

We can't say that we were offroading or anything but.... This was still awful fun to take the little one out on for a quick spin. Had to try out the new shades and the ear protection. Just making sure we are ready for the first race weekend when the family can attend.

Saturday, March 15, 2008

Well APP Racing said earlier that it was following Ross and Stoner by moving to the Stones. Well it is officially official, no turning back now. These things look awesome and the fronts already feel sticky and its 40 degrees outside.

APP teams with MotoVelocity.net to run CMRA mini moto

Tuesday, January 8, 2008

APP will be teaming with MotoVelocity.net this year to run 2 of the CMRA Endurance Series MiniMoto's. OK we are to big for them and we likely will look like Shriners Clowns but what fun it will be ripping it up on the 80 for 4-6 hours.

Based on the main racing schedule this will likley be done at the Feb 22nd Oak Hill Raceway event and the CMRA Hallet race weekend. Come on out and cheer for your favorite mini.

APP joins MCRA Road Racing Series Board Committee

APP became a member of the MCRA Road Racing Series Board. This committee was established to help promote and manage the wonderful St. Louis area MCRA organization (www.mcraracing.com). In the committee we will be working to continue the racing series, drive larger grids and increase track day participation.

Yesterday was our first official meeting and alot of progress was made. So I felt obligated to write about it.

1) it was decided that we needed an MCRA specific license. What does this mean to local racers. The cost of licensing just got cheaper. if you are only going to run the MCRA series you will see a dramatic cost discount in licensing. Enough so that your first race is basically free. So no excuses.
2) Secondly it was decided that a Try the Track option should be added. This will hopefully allow us a mechanism to help interested riders try out the track experience in a very safe and controlled fashion with minimal entry costs (compared to typical full track day participants). The cost is TBD but it was state that a coupon would be provided to provide you a proportional discount on your next track day. Once again -- NO EXCUSES for not getting on the track and trying it out.

So, if you have any questions on this topic, have an interested in riding with not speed limits, no cops, in a safe environment, with people with the same interests you have it all available with an MCRA Track Day. Please call or write if you need any help. APP is happy to help you get yourself or your bike ready for the upcoming events. The schedule can be seen in the calendar section.

Hello World, Little AJ here. Been working with Mommy on tree decorations and such. Found this little read hat and a box to play in. Seem pretty nice to me. There are other boxes laying around and they reference somebody named Santa. Not real sure what that means. I haven't seen anyone named Santa around here at all. But we have been pretty busy. Trying to teach dad how to change these diapers. He keeps trying but a Nascar pitstop it isn't. More like an AMA rain qualifing turned dry out of the clear blue.

Well I don't have a lot to say, actually can't really even talk yet but typing seems so easy. But regardless here are some more photos that mom took while I was helping around the tree and all.Publish Post
